Atheism, as defined by the government of the United Island, is rejection of religion and deities in general. It can also be defined by an absence of belief in any god, or a belief that there is no god. Atheism is not to be confused with nonreligion, which is defined as lack of exposure to religion.
Two players currently identify as atheist: 1lightningstrike and Malachi_Brown. In the case of Malachi_Brown, he was anointed into the New Church of Bailey by MayorSamuel on December 19, 2016, but later renounced Bailism on December 29. Malachi_Brown's rejection of the faith swayed opinion in Congress against religion, and Proposition XVII banned the government from enacting any national religion.
